After designing the book, next comes the part of publishing. It is necessary in this age of electronic advancement to have an e-version of the book even one decides to print the book in the printing press. Because, eBook got so many benefits and advantages over print books.

People tend to read in electronic devices like tablet, PC or mobile rather than physical paper because these devices are portable, cheaper, convenient and environment friendly. You can take a huge library of eBooks with you everywhere. You can have access to them within seconds. You can search, comment, arrange and store very easily.

First, you make sure that final draft is ready. All contents in the book such as texts, images, graphs, tables are properly aligned.  Print ready copy is along with you.

However, you need to make sure that formatting is correct and in order after conversion. Double check font size, margins, spacing, pictures, lines and other contents look fitting.

Internet is bombarded with eBooks so designing a cunning cover page is important. Make sure that you use a high quality image and it suits size of the book.

If your book includes links, check them. After conversion it may loose hyperlink style. Make sure that links are clickable and check for error.

You many need to do spell check and grammar check again to make sure that every thing is correct after conversion.

Now your book is ready to publish. You need to decide where you want to publish your book.

Select the right platform. Wider audience will read your book. You can increase the sales.

First, think about the target audience. What is popular among them? If the audience uses only mobile phones, you can choose PDF format. Kindle users will have access to your book if you have published in AMAZON KDP.

People to tend to spend more time when the platform is user friendly. So make sure that you select a platform where reader can navigate through the book easily without any issue.

You need to earn something from your book, right? Before selecting the platrom check royalties and pricing. Study the different platforms and their prices. Every platform has its own business models. The royalties differ according to the model. You need to set prices accordingly.

Once you publish your book, it will reach to the audience. Some publishers distribute to some countries only. Some publishers give region specific and country specific distribution facilities. When you choose those services, you can reach out to your audience easily.

You can avail offers given by the publishers to get more readers. Many platforms give the marketing and promotion tools including the social media-advertising tool.

Always make sure that you still have the ownership of the book even after publishing the book. Read contract terms and conditions carefully.
