After the Dhuha prayer, one has the option to do one of the three groups of activities:
1. Studying
2. Worshiping
3. working for sustenance
Students spend their time studying. Others who have enough money to maintain a moderate life are welcome to allocate their time for any kind of worship. The worship here means any kind of good deeds done without expecting any reward from the people. It ranges from raising awareness of preserving a healthy environment to helping the jobless find a job. It includes all types of deeds such as visiting the sick, doing social work, and serving parents.
Sheikh Zainudin t advises people to select the learning and teaching jobs because they are related to knowledge which is the greatest of the best activities.
In the above lines, he highlights some important facts about Islamic scholars and students. Scholars are given great respect and admiration, provided that their intentions are sincere and genuine.
Below are some of the virtues:
1. Sincere scholars are like full moons and the worshippers are like stars in the sky.
2. All creatures of the universe – little ones like ants and big ones like the sky – pray for the welfare of the scholars.
3. Students of knowledge are on the way to Jannah (paradise). They are given special care by Allah. The Angels help them all the time.
4. Studying is better than worshipping. Reading a chapter is better than performing one thousand Raka’as Sunnah prayers.
