Know what to do if one can’t perform Wudu or identify Qiblah
Know what to do if one can’t find dress for performing Salaat
Salaat of one who is unable to fulfill the conditions of Salaat
It is important to keep all Shuroot in Salaat. Below are the rulings for one who is unable to fulfill conditions of Salaat such as Wudu, Taharah and Awrah.
Unable to make Wudu
One who is unable (العَاجِز) to make Wudu with water has to do Tayammum (تَيَمُّم). If he is unable to do Tayammum, he has to pray Fard prayer without Taharah as a respect for prayer time. But he should repeat (الإعادة) that prayer later on.
Unable to purify the filth
One who is unable to purify the filth (نَجَس) from the body, he has to pray and repeat it later. One who is imprisoned in a filthy place and he didn’t get anything to cover the floor, he has to pray and repeat it later.
Unable to cover Awrah
One who is unable to get a dress for covering his Awrah, he has to cover it with clay, paper or anything. If he is able to cover only some parts of his Awrah, he has to cover as much as possible giving the preference to the private organs (سَوْئَتَيْن). If he didn’t get anything to cover, he should pray naked (عُرْيَانًا) and no need to repeat it.
One who doesn’t know Salaat time and he was not informed by any trustful person about the exact time, then he should make his own research (اجْتِهَاد) to find out it. If he is unable to find it, then he should offer the prayer at the estimated time honoring the prayer time and later he should repeat it.
