Najas and Concession
Najas that have concession(عَفْو)
- Very small amount of hair, feather and the dust which are Najas.
- Najas that which is on the leg of the flies or on the mouth of the baby.
- Najas normally unseen by moderate eye (الطرْف المُعتدِل).
Note: Above-mentioned things are excused only if Najas is not Mugallad (heavy) and is not the result of the actions of a person. Also, the Najas should be in very little quantity such that if it comes in contact with water, it should not change the property of water, and if it comes in contact with any solid dry material, no wet should remain on it.
Najas that have special concession in water - The dung(رَوْث)of aquatics living in the water such as the fish.
- The dung of those living in-between the leaves.
- The dung of the rates dropped in the basins (tanks) if the disturbance of rates is very severe (عُمُوم الابْتِلاَء).
- The dead body of that which has no flowing blood (ما لا نَفْس له سائلَة) such as mosquito(بَعُوض) and flea(بُرْغُوث).
Najas that have special concession in food - The blood remained on the meat and the bones even after adequate washing.
- Urine of the treading cow (بَقر الدِّيَاسة) on the seeds.
- The worm found in eatable goods such as apple.
Najas that have special concession in Salaat - Blood of that which has no flowing blood.
- His own blood from sore(دُمَّل) and pimple (بَثْرَة).
- Small amount of other’s (أَجْنَبِيّ) blood.
In the above three cases, the blood should not be mixed with any other object including the water. In the first and second cases, the following conditions should be met: the blood should not move from its originating place, the blood should not come out because of his own actions and the blood should be in his body or on his clothe. - The small amount of the blood from the openings(المنَافِذ) such as the blood of Haid, nose or eye.
- The small amount of Najas on the path.
- The place of Istijmar (اسْتِجْمَار /doing Taharah by stones).
