Not long ago, I corrected someone in front of others.
I was right.
But later, I realized something uncomfortable.
I had protected the truth,
but I had hurt a person.
That moment stayed with me.
Because morality is not only about being right.
It is also about how we are right.
I asked myself later:
Could I have said the same thing with more care?
Could I have chosen dignity over victory?
I think I could have.
Since then, I try to be more careful.
Not perfect — just more aware.
I remind myself that people remember tone
long after they forget words.
This is a small lesson,
but a real one.
Being moral is not about proving others wrong.
It is about not losing our humanity while standing for what is right.
