For the last twenty years, society told young people the same story: “Don’t get tied down. Don’t listen to traditional parents. Marriage is a trap. Kids are a burden. Just focus on your career, party, and live for yourself.”
Millions bought the lie.
Now look at where we are. We have an entire generation in their 30s living alone in tiny apartments, ordering takeout on an app, doom-scrolling until 2 AM, and spending half their paycheck on therapy and anti-depressants.
They thought they were escaping “oppressive rules.” All they did was trade a loving family for an algorithm and corporate work hours.
Traditional morality didn’t build family structures to lock you in a cage. It built them to protect you from ending up old, broken, and completely alone in a society that doesn’t care if you live or die.
Self-discipline isn’t backward. Giving up on duty just to chase your next dopamine hit isn’t freedom—it is just running away from growing up.
